About ThinkJustice Foundation
ThinkJustice Foundation, incorporated in 2025, is a non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming justice systems through rigorous scholarship, innovative education, and evidence-based advocacy. Founded through the collaborative vision of Dr Bhanu Prakash Nunna, Dr Manikandan Soundararajan, and Mr Siva T, our Foundation represents a bold commitment to advancing understanding and practice across the interconnected fields of criminology, victimology, criminal justice, law, forensic sciences, psychology, social work, and allied social sciences.
We believe that meaningful change in justice systems begins with exceptional education, groundbreaking research, and unwavering advocacy. ThinkJustice Foundation establishes and operates educational institutions, research centres, and training programmes whilst developing national and international partnerships with leading academic institutions. Our work encompasses professional certification programmes, digital learning initiatives, public awareness campaigns, and policy advocacy efforts that promote crime prevention, uphold victims' rights, and advance social justice.
Through our comprehensive publishing activities, including a bi-annual peer-reviewed journal and policy research, we disseminate cutting-edge knowledge to practitioners, policymakers, and the public. We forge strategic partnerships with law enforcement agencies, correctional institutions, government bodies, and international organisations, providing professional consultancy services and developing evidence-based programmes that promote restorative justice principles.
Our vibrant membership community brings together students, academics, practitioners, and professionals from across justice-related disciplines. We support the next generation through scholarships, fellowships, internships, and mentorship programmes, whilst our flagship International Conference on Global Criminology and Victimology provides a global platform for academic discourse and professional networking.
As we continue to expand our reach across India and internationally, ThinkJustice Foundation remains steadfast in our commitment to building a foundation for lasting change in justice systems, one that prioritises evidence, embraces innovation, and champions the rights and dignity of all individuals within society.
Our Mission
ThinkJustice Foundation advances interdisciplinary research, education, and advocacy in criminology, victimology, criminal justice, law, forensic sciences, psychology, social work, and allied social sciences. We bridge the gap between academic scholarship and real-world justice outcomes through innovative research initiatives, capacity-building programs, international collaborations, and community-engaged projects that promote evidence-based policy reforms, strengthen victim support systems, and foster systemic transformation toward more inclusive and responsive justice processes.
Our Vision
To create a world where evidence-based knowledge in criminology, victimology, and criminal justice transforms systems of justice into more equitable, effective, and humane frameworks that serve all members of society with dignity and fairness.
Our Approach
We believe that sustainable change in justice systems requires a multidisciplinary approach that combines:
Academic Excellence: Conducting cutting-edge research and fostering scholarly collaboration
Practical Application: Translating research findings into actionable policies and practices
Global Perspective: Building international partnerships and cross-cultural understanding
Community Engagement: Working directly with communities, victims, and justice professionals
Systemic Transformation: Advocating for comprehensive reforms that address root causes of injustice
Our Core Focus Areas
Education: We focus on advancing education in criminology, victimology, criminal justice, and law through strategic collaborations with academic institutions to develop curriculum, specialised programs, courses, seminars, special lectures, and workshops
Research: We conduct rigorous research in criminology, victimology, criminal justice, and law with emphasis on proactive research that directly informs policy and practice. Our research initiatives aim to generate evidence-based knowledge that addresses real-world challenges in justice systems.
Professional Development: We design certification programs, training initiatives, and capacity-building workshops that enhance the skills of justice professionals, academics, and community advocates.
Policy, Advocacy & Victim Centred Approaches: We engage with policymakers at local and national levels to promote evidence-based reforms in criminal justice administration and victim services. Central to our advocacy efforts is prioritising the voices, rights, and needs of crime victims, working to strengthen support systems and promote restorative justice principles that ensure victim centred responses throughout the justice process.
International Collaboration: We foster global partnerships with academic institutions, professional organisations, and advocacy groups to share best practices and advance justice reform worldwide.
